On September 15, 2018 H.E. Marian Andrej Pacak, C.Ss.R., was enthroned as the third bishop of the Eparchy of Saints Cyril and Methodius of Slovaks of Byzantine Rite in Canada.
At the 80th Slovak Day in Toronto, the largest annual gathering of Canadian Slovaks and their friends, it was a beautiful day enjoyed by hundreds of visitors.
The Parish of St. Cyril and Methodius in Mississauga and Toronto branch of Jednota (Union) organized a traditional Slovak picnic with a rich program, holy Mass, excellent food, music, dance performances, and children's competitions.
Sts. Cyril and Method Church in Mississauga celebrated the Feast of Corpus Christi, one of the important celebrations at Slovak catholic churches.
