Summer Picnic in Welland

Branch 23 of the Canadian Slovak League in Welland held their Summer picnic on August 21 at St. Anthony's Croatian Church hall. A lunch of chicken and salads was served. In attendance was our Kraska, Brooke Atamanyk and her family, who had represented Br. 23 at the Slovak Day in Milton as well as at Welland's Multicultural functions this year. 78 members attended this year's picnic. Both young and old came out to enjoy the afternoon and a good time was had by all.
