Slovak Television and OMNI TV broadcast misleading documentary about Slovaks in Canada

Canadian Slovaks are deeply disappointed about a misleading documentary titled 'Slovaks in Canada', produced for the OMNI Television Network by a Czech filmmaker Josef Cermak. The film received financial support and was also screened on the Slovak Television STV in Slovakia.

To produce and broadcast such inaccurate, incomplete, and biased film is a shame on both television networks. Canadian Slovak League has send a letter to OMNI Television in Toronto and a similar letter to Slovak Television STV in Bratislava with a request to correct the distortion.
