Consular services: submission of applications for Slovak passport or certificates of Slovak citizenship, criminal record check, registration of birth, marriage or death, authentication of signature, copy or translation.
Further information on particular consular services:
- SLOVAK PASSPORT
If you are a holder of one of documents bellow, you can apply for Slovak passport:
- Valid Slovak Passport
- Valid Slovak ID
- Valid certificate of Slovak citizenship*
- Valid confirmation of Slovak citizenship*
(*Certificate/confirmation of Slovak citizenship should not be older than 6 months from the date of issue).
In order to obtain a new biometric Slovak national passport a picture will have to be taken of all applicants (including children). Fingerprints and electronic signature will also be taken of all applicants older than 12 years. More information at:

- CERTIFICATE OF SLOVAK CITIZENSHIP
If you do not have any of the above mentioned documents you MUST first apply for a certificate/confirmation of Slovak citizenship. Only after receiving this certificate/ confirmation, you can apply for a new Slovak passport. More information at:
