Christmas Party of CSL Br. 2 in Montreal

Despite snow-clogged streets following two unexpected snowstorms, it was almost standing room only at the annual Liga Christmas banquet on December 12, 2010, held in the hall of the St. Cyril and Method Church which is facing imminent closure on orders from the Archdiocese of Montreal. This may well turn out to be the last Liga banquet held at the church hall. The large turnout in all likelihood was to show support for the beleaguered Slovak parish and community.
