On August 16, 2009, pastor Fr. František Krušinský greeted emeritus Archbishop J.E. Ján Sokol from Slovakia to the Montreal St. Cyril & Method parish who honoured the parish with visit. Holy Mass was followed by a luncheon and meeting with the Bishop. As is his custom, he created a close, family atmosphere.
