Byzantine Catholic Slovak Cathedral of the Nativity of the Mother of God on Shaw Street in Toronto always welcomes St. Nicholas to meet our children. Kids enjoyed crafts and decorated christmas cookies to be ready for Santa's visit.
At another Slovak church, children from Sts. Cyril and Methodius Parish in Mississauga had visitation by St. Nicholas, too. There were many kids and parents/grandparents present for the occasion and they were not disappointed. Kids from the Slovak language school had also nice welcome for St. Nicholas by beautiful songs and poems in Slovak language.
